Comments: “First Choice in Lovina!” I was there on 31 January 2012 with my fiance, parents & siblings. Although it was only for one night, but we loved it! The family bungalow is really really spacious, you just feel at home!
Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted with smiles and unique welcome drinks (orange & pineapple fruit punch). The staff has been expecting our arrival, and villa keys were ready for us to check in and lay ourselves down on the beds! No check in procedures at the lobby! Unlike any commercial hotels! Similarly, the check out was easy, just hand back the keys to the staff and we can drag our bags and go!
All the bungalows are clean and quiet, well equipped with television, fridge, air-condition, face & hand towels as well as body towels and even laundry hangers! It also comes with a mini basket of fresh fruits.
After reviewing several comments on the tripadvisor, we had to decide to have our dinner at Starlight Restaurant. The food portion is relatively big for most of us, the price charged was very reasonable. However, it was unfortunate that due to bad weather, we were unable to enjoy our dinner at the beach.
My family members tried the full body massage for 60mins at the Starlight for a very reasonable price at Rp100.000 only.
Before the trip, the owner has always been very responsive in her reply. The owner also accommodated to few of my requests very promptly, such as to contact our hotel in Kuta for confirmation voucher, to provide travel adaptor, suggestions for visits, etc. Room Tip: The family bungalow can fit at least 5 adults!

Comments: Starlight Beach is een rustig hotel (bungalows) net even buiten Lovina (Kalibukbuk), waar je je zeer welkom voelt. Gelegen direct aan zee, restaurant (goede keuken) op het kleine strand. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, zeer servicegericht, eten is uitstekend. Mooie, ruime kamers, goed schoongehouden. Ontbijt via menukaart (dus geen buffet) maar genoeg en goed verzorgd!

Comments: Nog 6 dagen en we moeten weer terug naar het koude Ned. Zijn 7 weken in Starlight geweest. Ondanks veel regen, vonden het geweldig. Het hotel is absoluut een aanrader! Hebben nog nooit, in welk hotel dan ook, zulk lief personeel gehad!!!! Niets is hun teveel. geweldig! Hopen volgend jaar weer terug te komen. Comments: We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad bij Starlight, het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, de huisjes waren perfect, het eten was grandioos,het strand met de ligbedden ideaal en de balebenong niet te versmaden...kortom een plek om nog veel vaker naar toe te gaan, jazeker ons zien ze nog terug...bedankt voor een fantastische vakantie, net wat een mens nodig heeft....

Comments: Starlight hotel was a little gem that we found. Only booked the night before and did not know what we would find. We were mist pleasantly surprised. From The staff that greeted us with a welcome drink to the chef and wait staff were all so friendly. This is a well managed little hotel in a great spot. We ate in the restyarant and it was really good food. On the whole we would recommend this hotel to others just wish we had stayed another night.

Comments: Lovely hotel! Together with my 16 years old son we spent five nights and New Year 2012 at this lovely place. This was our best part of Bali holiday. We enjoyed our cottage and swimming pool, breakfast was very good and staff friendly. Driver took us to center and we had a snorkeling trip wit starlights boat. Thank you -so nice time we had!!!

Comments: Bij aankomst werden we zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door het personeel en naar onze bungalow gebracht. De bungalows zijn keurig onderhouden, schoon en zeer ruim. Binnen 2 minuten waren we van de bungalow aan het strand. Het eten in het restaurant echt fantastisch. We hebben iedere dag iets anders genomen en het was iedere keer heerlijk.
Tonijn vissen is echt een aanrader. tussen de dolfijnen vissen was een geweldige ervaring. ook tussen het koraal snorkelen vonden we te gek.

I have written about the Starlight before. We stayed there in October 2011 again and it was like visiting friends again. Almost all the staff remembered me by name. The food is very good there still - clean and tasty. The fresh juices look superb when you see trays of them being delivered to the beachside tables. I can't say much more than I already have on previous occasions - it's a great accommodation. Definitely recommended. Arrange the Dolphin Tour with them too - they have a fast boat to get out to the dolphins!
TIP: There are 7 bungalows there. Book well ahead because it's a popular place. The bungalows have overhead mosquito nets - for "honeymoon" feeling! Stayed Oktober 2011, visited with partner

Comments: We zijn net terug vanuit Bali en hebben ruim een week gelogeerd in Starlight. Het was GEWELDIG! Wat een lieve mensen werken er, zowel in de bediening als in de keuken en de schoonmaak. En de chauffeur niet te vergeten.Het eten was geweldig, de koks verdienen ook echt een groot compliment. De verse vis,(mahi mahi, heerlijk!) 's ochtends gevangen en speciaal voor ons klaargemaakt. De kamers/huisjes zijn ruim en schoon, heerlijk af en toe BVN op TV kijken en gratis wifi. We zullen Starlight zeker aanraden bij onze vrienden en collega's.

18-9-2011 On our arrival we felt very welcome. and had all the time to relax on the beach and enjoy our welcome drink. The bungalows (not to many to keep everything small and personal, with high quality) were absolutely the best we've had in Bali. The rooms are just an invite to sleep in. The bathroom are very clean (just spotless). You have your own garden, beside your bungalow. The restaurant is very nice with open kitchen. The meals are just enough, not to much. And good. We had many dinners right on the beach with our feet in the sand and just meters away from the ocean. After sunset there was a campfire. On the Thursdays and Saturdays they have live music (guitar, drum and tambourine). All makes the atmosphere just one to dream of. I suggest to take a dolphin or snorkelling tour from the hotel itself. The manager took us out to the best spots. The boat from the hotel is twice as fast as the rest of the local boats. and we stayed much longer then the rest. great value for your money.
